THE RIDDLE BOX [vs Jake Jeckel] Empty THE RIDDLE BOX [vs Jake Jeckel]

Wed Dec 02, 2020 1:16 am
Some say that time is like an army, shrouded in darkness, consuming all in its path as it passes by. This darkness turns the day into an eternal night. All life fades into death, just as the sun sets. Men, women, children, their lives are done in the click of a finger.

Many people leave this life without purpose, without legacy, but those who believe in something greater than themselves prepare to be judged on what they have achieved with their short time in the mortal realm.

Your life is said to flash before your eyes when you realise death is upon you. It’s described as an instant, but in reality time slows to a near stop and allows a person to reflect on their deeds in life. A man with greed in his heart may try and cling to life, afraid of what awaits him when his time is done. A man with purity and good will reflect and think to himself that he tried his best to make the world a better place and be at peace with himself as he passes through death’s curtain.

When a man dies, it is the end of his timeline. His time stops as he crosses into the afterlife, where time is eternal. But what comes next?

The Juggalos believe that when your life stops ticking, and the afterlife welcomes you, that the first place you visit is a dark room. Within this room stands a wooden table, with an odd looking jack-in-the-box placed on it. To leave the room, you must turn the crank. The music plays – shrill and sharp – and fills the room, almost deafening. When the tune ends, and the crank makes its last turn, what you see determines your fate.

Those who have done good in the world will be bathed in golden light as the top swings open, and they will embrace peace as the vision of God leads them to eternity.

For those who did not earn a place in heaven, a dense fog will pour from the top, and the room will disintegrate into a reflection of their hell, showing their most depraved and demented nightmares. The floor crumbles and they will fall into a sinister pit surrounded by misery of their own making.

Jake. Should you face the Riddle Box now, with your life as it stands, would you be bathed in gold or shrouded in fog? A violent man, incapable of keeping those he cares for safe – what have you done to deserve a peaceful eternity? The end of the world as we know it is upon us, and soon you will begin to feel your time slow, and your life will be laid out before you, for you to reflect on as the Box awaits you. It’s not too late, Jake. You can still make your life mean something. You can still avoid an eternal hell. It is God himself who wants the world to end, and only by embracing that will you step into the gold when the moment comes.

Your time is short. Make your choice.
